In a world of constant stimulation, the ability to sustain attention has become both rare and essential.
Back to Basics is a two-part, 2.5-hour immersive workshop series returning to the foundations of yoga through meditation, breath (pranayama), asana, and embodied awareness (guided body scan practice). These core elements support steadiness of mind, clarity, and a more present relationship with the body.
Each workshop offers a distinct focus and may be taken individually or together as a series. The emphasis is on the learning process itself—how attention is cultivated, lost, and gently restored. Through precise instruction, slow movement, and mindful exploration, participants practice staying present within the body rather than moving on autopilot.
As a guiding reminder: “If you cannot sustain your attention on five consecutive breaths, you really cannot sustain your attention on anything.” Let’s practice together.
