Alex Dunn of Emmy's Way: Hi, I’m Alex Dunn! I’m the owner and head trainer of Emmy’s Way located in Grand Rapids, MI. My goal is to support both humans and dogs in building their best relationship with one another. My education background is in Elementary Education, Spanish, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I spent 5 years specializing in teaching English as a Second Language to students in grades K-12. While I was teaching, I rescued my first dog as an adult. Emmy came into my life and inspired a new passion in me: dog training. I fell in love with behavior and how to support dogs with compassion, empathy, curiosity, and fun.
