Join us for a Back Handspring Mini-Camp! This is a week-long event that runs from Monday to Friday, with sessions taking place from 2pm to 4pm each day. Designed to help participants progressively master the back handspring, a key building block for artistic sports such as gymnastics, cheer and dance. Participants will benefit from expert coaching and a supportive learning environment, allowing them to perfect their technique at their own pace. Each day, we'll focus on a different aspect of the back handspring, from the initial jump to the hand placement and final landing, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and execution of the skill. By the end of the week, participants will not only have gained a new athletic skill, but also have boosted their confidence, strength, and body awareness. Join us for a week of flips, fun, and fitness at our Back Handsprings Mini-Camp!This camp is best suited for students who are ages 6 and older with a backbend from standing and standing back up, bridge kick-over, and a handstand with a controlled descent. It's not about the age as much as the skills, determination, and willingness to learn that will make participants successful in this camp.
Meet the Instructor: Molly Courtney
Molly Courtney is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the world of gymnastics, cheerleading, acrobatics, and fitness training. With 10 years as a competitive gymnast, an NCAA cheerleader, and performing as a professional acrobat, Molly brings a unique blend of skills to her teaching. She holds a BS degree in Exercise Science and is a certified Personal Trainer, EXOS Performance Specialist, and Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. With 25 years of coaching experience and the owner of The Movement Park, Molly is dedicated to helping individuals improve their strength, balance, and agility in fun and unique ways.
