About this Event
The craft of needle felting is rapidly growing in popularity. Under the guidance of fiber artist/teacher Sara Setzer, each participant will create a three-dimensional bird in a predetermined or freehand design, depending on your skill level, using wool and special felting needles. You will be amazed at how quickly you feel like a veteran needle felter! No experience is needed!
Sara Setzer is a fiber artist concentrating on felt work, hand dyeing, and botanical printing. Felting captured Sara’s attention when a friend introduced her to the craft. Since then, she has taught herself through books, the internet, and creative experimentation. Most of Sara’s work creates scarves, wraps, collars, and caplets. However, she makes many other ‘wooly creations’ from dryer balls to felted soaps and her popular DIY felting kits.
