Special Dominican Bachata Workshop with Cokie Young in conjunction with the Sunday Social.For those just going to the social it will be as usual but we offer a combined social + workshop for those interested. For those just doing the social, beginning salsa lesson is at 6:30 and Dancing 7:15-9:30.
Workshop starts at 6:30 promptly is Studio 5 next door so check in at the door in the big studio by 6:20 to get your bracelet and then walk next door for the workshop. This will be happening at the same time as the usual Salsa beginners lesson in the big studio.
Bachata workshop geared for people with some experience to more advanced dancers and will center on traditional Dominican styles.
Cokie's description - "Bachata Open House where you will explore how to dance bachata the way it's danced in its birthplace—the Dominican Republic! You will be introduced to musicality, partner work, and a bit of footwork to get you ready for the social dance floor.

All tickets are will call and you must check in and get your bracelet at the door of the big studio and then go next door for the workshop.
