We will have two workshops (sensual and moderna) then we will party till late with our usual mix of salsa, bachata, and kizomba (plus a sprinkling of chacha and merengue!)

Max and Alex are Bachata artists and founders of the Desafyar dance school and festival in Christchurch, New Zealand. They have been teaching Bachata together for 5 years, specialising in sensual and fusion bachata, including their own signature bachatrap style. They also dance Zouk, Kizomba, Salsa, and Samba de Gafiera.
They are passionate about up-skilling and fuelling dance communities with fresh ideas from around the globe. Their classes are designed to challenge and inspire dancers in a playful, friendly environment.
Two workshops to start the night 💃🕺
1) Bachata Sensual - Open level.
Fundamental bachata sensual techniques - improve your body movement and learn new skills to use when the song is slow/lyrical.
2) Bachata Moderna - Imp/Int
A fun combination class, some of our favourite moves to play with when dancing moderna style.
Party from 9pm to midnight 🥳🥳
