Bachata is a fun Latin social dance from the Dominican Republic danced to a very specific genre of music. We will learn basic movements, all the the fun turns and handwork, and various styling options. All that is missing is the umbrella in the drink cup.We will emphasize steps, lead/follow connection and moving with the music.
We will not force a romantic or sensual dance (that is up to you and your partner) and we ask that you are respectful of each other's boundaries.
