Where does the festival take place?
The Bachata District Festival 2025 will take place at Tanzstudio Fortuna in Malstatt (Saarbrücken). The venue features a spacious dance floor, a large bar area, and changing rooms – everything you need for an amazing festival experience. And don’t worry: with air conditioning throughout the venue, you can keep a cool head even when the rhythms heat up!
Where can I park?
There are around 20 parking spots directly at the dance studio, but due to the narrow entrance, we kindly recommend skipping those and heading straight to the nearby P24 public parking lot, just a 2-minute walk from the venue. It's a large, convenient parking area and costs only 4 € for 24 hours.
Can I pay by card at the venue?
Unfortunately, card payments are not possible at the venue. We kindly ask you to bring cash, as all payments on site are cash only. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I bring my bag into the venue?
Yes, you can bring your bag with you! As dancers ourselves, we know how important it is to have things like extra clothes, deodorant, powder, a towel, or some perfume on hand. You’re welcome to store your bag in the changing room or side room.
However, please do not leave bags or jackets on the dance floor or near the bar area.
For safety reasons, there may be a quick bag check at the entrance – just a simple precaution to make sure no prohibited items are brought in. Thanks for your understanding!
Can I bring my own water to the festival?
During the Saturday workshops (12:00–19:30), you’re welcome to bring your own drinks. We’ll also provide free water and access to a coffee machine – both are included in your Full Pass.
However, for the evening events (Pre-Party Workshops & Party), we kindly ask you not to bring your own drinks. We have a fully stocked bar with fair prices and a friendly team ready to serve you refreshing drinks and delicious cocktails all night long!
What food is available during the lunch break?
For everyone wondering about the lunch break snacks – we’ve got you covered! We’ll provide a simple selection of dry cakes and pastries, perfect for a quick bite while standing and recharging your energy for the next workshops.
It’s also a lovely moment to connect, chat, and enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere. We’re really looking forward to sharing this little midday break with you!
Is there a dress code?
There’s no dress code on Friday – just come as you are and feel good!
On Saturday, for the official Bachata District Festival night, we recommend an Urban Street Style vibe: relaxed, creative, and individual.
There are no color requirements – express yourself and have fun with your style!
Will there be shows?
No, there won’t be any traditional shows.
Instead, get ready for a short, interactive midnight program (around 20 minutes) – full of energy, creativity, and surprises.
And the best part?
You’re part of it!
It’s all about having fun together and creating a moment to remember.

Dieses Festival ist eine limitierte Veranstaltung für eine kleine Gruppe motivierter Tänzer.

Die Artists sind speziell ausgewählt, um einen Vibe zu vermitteln. Möchtest du nur trocken neue Figuren lernen, wird dir dieses Festival nicht gefallen.
