🍸🍾🎊 THE GREAT GATSBY!Ove subote ulazimo u vremeplov i vraćamo se u 1920., u SAD!
Oblačimo se po tadašnjoj modi, pijemo ilegalni Gin, Martini i Whiskey, koktele French 75, Southside, Mary Pickford i Bee’s Knees, iii - - - plešemo na fantastičnom plesnjaku!
👣 Iako plešemo naše današnje plesove - bachatu i salsu - u 1920-ima latinoameričkim podijima, pogotovo u Havani, tadašnjem Las Vegasu SAD-a, vladali su bolero i son, iz kojih su se razvile i bachata (bolero + son) i salsa (son = i portorikanska/linijska i kubanska), pa ni tu nećemo biti previše daleko od doba Ala Caponea. Tim više što su u 1920-im Velikog Gatsbyja i moda i glazba i ples bili revolucionarni "skandalozni" bijeg od uštogljene tradicije - a što su to nego upravo salsa i još više naša "zloglasna" bachata (sensual) naspram valcera, dvokoraka i sl.?... ;)))
🍸✨👣 Zato, spremi se, dođi, pleši i zabavljaj se na ovaj fora-način! I probaj tadašnje koktele - jako su jednostavni i zanimljivi, pogotovo Bee's Knees (sladak, s medom)!
🍸🎺👗 DRESS CODE!
1920-e! Možeš biti član visokog društva, a možeš biti i gangster a la Al Capone; možeš biti flapperica, a možeš biti elegantna dama. Biraj, zaigraj se i uživaj! Vraćamo se u doba Jazza! Pssst, možeš biti i gangsterica. Šeširi, mašnice, tregeri; haljinice, ukrasi u kosi...

👗 P. S. Uz dress-code ulaz ti je 4€ + dobiješ piće dobrodošlice (moonshine). Izvan dress-codea = ulaznica 5€ i nema pića dobrodošlice.

EL fuego će napraviti poseban mix za oba podija u kojeg će u bachatu i salsu uplesti okus Jazza, okus 1920., kako bi i glazba bila u temi, a i da da malo neočekivanog začina klasičnom zvuku bachate i salse. Sa salsom to neće biti toliko teško jer sama već ima puno elemenata jazza, ali kako će to uspjeti s bachatom - jedva čekamo kušati!

Samo najbolje od svih vrsta, podvrsta, smjerova i zvukova bachate; i premijere i klasici, i brzo i lagano, i energično i veselo i senzualno i romantično... I sve sa začinom 1920-ih... ;)))

Više nema tropske plažice (aaaaa)... Ali, i dalje te čeka najbolje od najboljeg od salse, i od portorikanske i od kubanske, stari klasici, najnoviji hitovi, u energičnoj i pozitivnoj atmosferi s blagim okusom jazza 1920-ih...

🍸🍾🎊 THE GREAT GATSBY!
This Saturday we're entering time machine and return to 1920s', USA! We dress according to the fashion of the time, drink illegal bootleged Gin, Martini and Whiskey, cocktails French 75, Southside, Mary Pickford and Bee's Knees, aaaand - - - dance!
Although we dance current dances - bachata and salsa - in the 1920's Latin American dance floors (especially in Havana, Las Vegas of the USA before Las Vegas) were ruled by bolero and son, from which both bachata (bolero + son) and salsa (son = both Puerto Rican / Linear and Cuban) developed. So, we won't be too far from Al Capone's era there either. All the more so since in the 1920's of the Great Gatsby, both fashion and music and dance were "scandalous" escape from rigid tradition - and what are these but exactly salsa, and even more so our "infamous" bachata (sensual)?... ;)))
🍸✨👣 So, dress up, come, dance and have fun in this quirky way! And try the cocktails of that time - they are simple but interesting, especially Bee's Knees (sweet, with honey)!

1920's! You can be a member of high society, you can be a gangster like Al Capone; you can be a flapper-girl, you can be an elegant lady. Choose, play the game and enjoy! We are returning to the Jazz age! Pssst, ladies, you can be gangsters too. Hats, bow-ties, suspenders; dresses, hair ornaments...

👗 P.S. With a dress code, the entrance fee is 4€ + you get a welcome drink (moonshine). Outside the dress code = entrance fee is 5€ and there's no welcome drink.

EL Fuego will make a special mix for both dance floors, in which the taste of Jazz, the taste of 1920's, will be woven into bachata and salsa, to give a little unexpected spice to their usual sounds. With salsa it won't be that difficult since it already has a lot of jazz elements, but how will it work with bachata - we can't wait to taste that try!
