Join Shae Cares CPR for a babysitting basics training event right before summer comes. This event is catered for teens 12 and up. All tickets include popcorn and a bottled drink.
What will you learn? Will I receive a certification?
⚫Babysitting Safety: We will cover topics such as childproofing, safe play, supervision techniques, handling emergencies while babysitting, and communication with parents/guardians.
⚫CPR Training: The class will include instruction on CPR techniques for infants and children. Students will learn how to perform chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the proper sequence of actions to take in case of cardiac arrest.
⚫First Aid Training: This part of the class will cover basic first aid skills such as wound care, burns, choking, allergic reactions, and other common emergencies. Students will also learn how to assess a situation, provide appropriate first aid, and when to seek further medical assistance.
⚫Certification: Upon successful completion of our course students will receive their certification in Babysitting Basics, First Aid, and Pediatric CPR.
⚫Interactive Learning: This class will include hands-on practice sessions, interactive scenarios, and demonstrations to ensure students understand and can apply the skills they learn.
⚫Educational Materials: Students will receive educational materials such as handouts, manuals, or online resources to reinforce what they've learned in class and serve as references in the future.
All students must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are welcome to enjoy the beverages at the coffee shop and use the wifi to relax while their student participates in our course.
