Learn the basics of babysitting with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Dallas County. Students grade 6th-8t will learn about child ages and stages, safety, fun activities, how to handle emotions and injury, and how to start a babysitting business. Each participant will leave with their own babysitting bag, binder, first aid kit, and certificate of completion. This is a 6-hour training; participants are required to bring their own sack lunch and water. Registration required - Registration opens Feb. 19th, 2026.
