7th Annual Walk for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness 💗👣💙👣💛October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.
1 in 4 pregnancies in America ends in a loss. 1 in 100 pregnancies that make it to 20 weeks ends in stillbirth and each year in the US about 24,000 babies are stillborn. In 2017, there were approximately 3,600 sudden unexpected infant deaths and the infant mortality rate in 2020 was 38.4 deaths per 100,000 lives births. These are all someone’s angels. I have seen so many people affected by pregnancy and infant loss. I saw the impact it had on my friend Dallas, her husband, her other children, and their families, as well as many other parents, siblings, and families. We continue to honor Kenzington Marilyn Crossman and all the other angels gone too soon each year. I have seen so many people suffer from this heart break and I want everyone who has suffered this unimaginable loss to know that they are not alone and that their perfect angels will always be remembered 💗💙💛
This October, let’s show our support again for all the parents and families who have been affected by loss. The walk will be two miles, complete as many laps of the two miles that you would like. We will be lining the track next to the Franklin County Annex again to honor the tiny angels who were too perfect for this Earth 👼 The registration fee will be $25 and is due by September 19, 2025. The registration fee includes a t-shirt. There will not be extra t shirts ordered. Anyone wanting a t-shirt after the deadline will have to contact whoever makes the shirts directly to see about ordering. Everyone over the age of 18 must be registered to walk if they want a t-shirt. Children under 18 are free, but t-shirts can be purchased separately in youth sizes for $14. There will be an additional charge for shirts 2x and up. You can pay the registration fee using the PayPal or Venmo listed or through FB pay. Please, please, please pay friends and family so a fee is not taken out, or if you do not pay friends and family, please add the additional cost to cover the fee so the donations are not affected. 100% of the money raised is used for the walk and to help families affected by loss through assistance with headstones or care packages presented to local hospitals for families that face loss. Please include the names of those you are paying for in the comments when you send payment so I can keep track of who has paid for shirts. Donations are also accepted via PayPal Friends & Family, Venmo, FB pay, cash, or check. Let’s show these parents and families again this year that they are not alone and that their angels will always be remembered 💗💙💛 Cannot wait to see y’all there!
