Baby Crawling Contest - New Baby Expo 2022

Babies start your engines and race on down to the New Baby Expo 2022 on May 14 for the 23rd Annual New Baby Expo "Baby Crawling Contest".

A fun event for the whole family. Bring your keys, bells, whistles, or anything else that will get baby to cross that finish line. And Don't forget to bring your cameras to catch those photo finishes.

Pre-register for the event, so you don't have to at the show. Limited to 80 racers. The event is scheduled for May 14 at 2 pm at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Check-in for the event begins at 1:45 pm. Paid admission to the New Baby Expo 2022 is required to participate. General admission to the New Baby Expo 2022 is $5.50 (subj. to change), Children 5 and Under are FREE. 

Release and Liability Waiver: By participating in the Baby Crawling Contest you hereby release, discharge, and agree to save harmless Family Expositions and all persons acting under its permission or authority from any liability or injury that may occur while participating in the Baby Crawling Contest. Family Expositions also reserves the right to use the video and photographs of the above-named participants and all other attendees of the event for editorial, trade, advertising, publicity, promotion, and any other purpose and in any manner or medium.

What time does the event start?

The New Baby Expo Baby Crawling Contest Starts at 2 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Neal Blaisdell Center - Exhibition Hall.  Registration begins at 1:45 pm.  Races will start promptly at 2 Ispm and continue until all racers have raced.

Is there any age limit to enter the event?

There is no age limit to enter.  We leave it up to the discretion of the parents to know if your child is still crawling or is already walking.  Babies that stand and walk in the race are disqualified.

Does Pre-Registering for the Event Guarantee me a race spot?

No.  Pre-registering for the event alleviates parents from completing the registration paperwork at the event.  You will still need to check-in at 1:45 pm on the day of the event (Sat. May 14).  Please bring your printed Pre-registration Ticket to the Event. Event race spots are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What are my transport/parking options for the event?

A 1500 stall Parking structure is available at the Neal Blaisdell Center for your convenience.  Parking is $8 (Subj. to change) during the event. Cash Only.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, registration for the event will be for your baby only.
