Wondering what an alleycat is? Originating with bike messengers, alleycats test not only your speed but your knowledge of the city and ability to create an efficient route to hit different checkpoints throughout the city. Some checkpoints will have activities you must complete before moving on. Babes Bike Boston encourages riders of all abilities to participate, go at your own pace, hit as many checkpoints as you can, and most importantly have fun! While we’ll have awards for the fastest riders, we’ll also have some award categories that aren’t all about speed (like the first to finish on a BlueBike and the “most fun” award).
This year, BlueBikes is offering FREE BlueBike passes for participants! To get a pass, indicate that you need one while signing up OR email us at [email protected] before the event.
