BAAITS is honored to support our Two-Spirit and IndigeQueer relatives in attending the Indigenous Peoples Day Sunrise Ceremony on Alcatraz Island. We are offering 30 free tickets for community members to take part in this important gathering.
Please note: BAAITS is not organizing this event. We are providing access to tickets so our community can join in solidarity with the broader Native community.
🚨Important Arrival Information:
The ferry will depart promptly at 4:30 AM from Pier 33. We ask that BAAITS community members gather by 4 AM so we can board together without delay. Late arrivals cannot be accomodated, as the boat will not wait.
This is an outdoor event, dress warmly, bring water, and prepare for the early morning weather on the Bay.
