Group Class Options
1:00 - 1:45 Rock City Class, ages 3-5Â
- A joyful early childhood music class designed to support school readiness, confidence, and social development. Students explore instruments, rhythm, and musical styles while building listening skills, coordination, and creativity in a nurturing group environment—perfect for young homeschool learners.
1:00 - 2:00 Rock Band, ages 7 and upÂ
- Students experience the benefits of collaborative learning by playing in a real band. This class builds teamwork, responsibility, confidence, and performance skills, while reinforcing musicianship and practice habits.
- An interest meeting will be held to review expectations and scheduling.
- Some prior instrument experience is required. Open to piano, vocals, guitar, bass guitar, and drums.
1:00 - 2:00 Glee Club, ages 7 and up
- A modern vocal ensemble that helps students develop confidence, vocal technique, and stage presence while forming meaningful peer connections. Emphasizes contemporary music and group performance—an excellent option for homeschool students seeking social interaction and creative expression.
2:00 - 2:45 Kids and Keys, ages 5 -7
- A beginner piano class designed specifically for young learners who thrive in a homeschool environment. Students enjoy small-group interaction while progressing through the piano curriculum at their own pace. This class builds a strong foundation in music reading, rhythm, theory, and healthy practice habits, making it an ideal pre-lesson pathway and a confidence-boosting introduction to formal music study.
2:00 - 3:00 Traditional Wind Band, ages TBD
- This ensemble-style class is designed to mirror a school band experience while offering the flexibility homeschool families appreciate. Students develop musicianship, discipline, and ensemble skills while learning to play traditional band instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and more.
- An interest meeting will be held to discuss age groupings, experience levels, expectations, and scheduling.Â
- This program is ideal for homeschool students seeking structured group learning, peer collaboration, and performance opportunities in a supportive environment.
2:00 - 3:00 Music Production Club, ages 10 and up
- Designed for students interested in creating and producing their own music, this class introduces digital audio engineering and music production software in a hands-on, project-based setting. Students build technical skills, creativity, and independent problem-solving while learning how modern music is recorded, edited, and produced.
- This program is ideal for homeschool students who enjoy technology, creativity, and self-directed learning, and it supports skill development that extends into STEM, media, and creative career pathways.
Private Lessons:
- Private lessons are available Monday–Friday from 1:00–3:00 PM and include a homeschool discount.
- Students receive one-on-one instruction tailored to their learning style, pace, and musical goals—perfect for homeschool schedules and individualized education plans.

- Lesson Length Options:Â 30-minute lessons | 60-minute lessons
- Curriculum: Each instrument follows Bach to Rock’s proprietary 4-level curriculum,and our method books (Piano Adventures, Hal Leondard Guitar, etc) providing clear progression, goal setting, and measurable skill development. B2R values a well rounded music education emphasizing reading, ear training, technique, improv, performance, and practice skills.Â
