Come join us for a transformative experience at azulSpiral! This conscious dance event in Missoula is a space for you to express yourself freely through movement. Let the music guide you as you connect with your body, mind, and spirit. No dance experience is required - just bring your open heart and a willingness to explore. Meet like-minded individuals and embrace the joy of dancing in a supportive community. Release stress, energize your body, and awaken your senses at azulSpiral.

• Finding more fluidity in your dance in order to find more fluidity in your daily-life.
• Deepened ability to embody movement in any dance practice and wherever life takes you.

Logistics for the classes:

● Arrive 15 minutes early so we can all start together.

● Door closes 15 minutes after the class begins.

● Pre-registration is required.

● We dance barefoot or in special dance shoes (no street shoes please).

● No verbal talking on the dance floor, we talk/express with our bodies.

● To remain substance-free is encouraged, in order to be mindfully aware of how you feel and when things feel different for you.

● Bring water so you can stay hydrated.

Jake’s conscious dance workshop on the 4 orientations was my first experience with Azul. I was curious and a little nervous at first, but I felt both emotionally and physically safe - as well as supported - throughout the entire 3 hour workshop. I was given permission to undertake an individual exploration of what is happening inside and outside of me while also becoming connected to others taking the same journey. Jake facilitated simple, heartfelt activities where we took turns supporting and receiving each other. Some involved speaking - “You are loved,” “you are beautiful,” and “you are not alone. “ I walked away from the workshop actually trembling inside in an honest, healing, and brand new way.
