Welcome to our Ayurvedic Seasonal Workshop: Pacifying Kapha Dosha.
Ayurveda is the oldest form of holistic medicine and sister science to yoga. According to the Ayurvedic calendar, we transition into Kapha season as we leave behind winter and start to embrace spring.
Join Valarie Yuskaitis, owner & founder of PureVeda, for a Kapha pacifying workshop that will begin with a yoga practice to help detoxify the mind and body. In the second half of this workshop, you’ll learn about the characteristics of Kapha dosha and how to use diet, lifestyle and specific self-care routines to prevent imbalances that often surface in the spring. This may include phlegm, sinus infections, allergies, weight gain, slow digestion, water retention, heaviness in the mind and laziness. Come learn more about how to achieve balance for springtime!
No prior experience or knowledge required; all levels welcomed!
Cost: $40
Virtual Option: This workshop will be held in person in our studio space, but you can join us live virtually. Please sign up here and select the pricing: VIRTUAL Sound Healing. Then 48 hours prior to the event, we’ll send you the easy steps for how to join us from home.

More about Valarie:
Valarie began practicing yoga in 2010 searching for relief from the aches and pains after a lifetime of running and intense training for triathlons. Valarie found that the more she practiced yoga, the better she felt. Most importantly, she noticed that yoga increased her ability to manage stress and improved her mental focus.
Valarie completed her 200hr training with Eric and Erin Wheeler of Lucky Cat Yoga in 2016 and a 100hr mentorship program with Marley Vigdorth in 2018 where she took a deeper dive into yoga philosophy & psychology, sequencing, mudras, mantras and meditation. Her classes incorporate playful sequences, challenging transitions and a focus on mindfulness for everyday life.
Valarie is the owner & founder of PureVeda, an Ayurvedic wellness company. Her intention is to offer holistic wellness and healing using yoga and Ayurveda as complementary tools to help people achieve balance.
