Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness, Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment.
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian science of self-healing, and the knowledge behind originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge) - translated into “The Science of Life.”.
We will take you on a journey of Ayurveda - the ancient Indian science of self-healing. According to Ayurveda balanced good health is the foundation for the fulfillment of harmonious human existence. Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness, Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment. Ayurveda helps the healthy person to maintain health and the diseased person to regain health.
During the workshop we'll explore more into the universe of Ayurveda, covering subjects such as doshas (body types), yoga, food, relationships etc.
On the workshop you get a chance to discuss basic questions like;
What is Ayurveda? Where does Ayurveda come from? How do Ayurveda work? Who could benefit from Ayurveda? When to apply Ayurveda in your life? Is Ayurveda for everyone? What are the practicals behind Ayurveda? Do we need to do yoga, in order to practice Ayurveda?

Who can participate?
Everyone is welcome to join, you don't need any previous experience with Ayurveda - as long as you are curious & ready to delve into all the knowledge.
