Improve your sleep quality, and increase your happiness and immune function! This workshop will show you how to establish healthy sleep patterns to counter the stresses arising through not having good quality sleep.
We will look at some ayurvedic herbal remedies, learn easy relaxation techniques. and practise a Yin yoga sequence to set you up for a restful night’s sleep. Even if you sleep well, you will enjoy these easy tried and tested ways to deeply relax and enhance your wellbeing, waking up in the morning feeling happy, fresh and ready for the day ahead!
There will be a talk at the beginning to cover understanding of circadian and sleep cycles. How poor quality sleep disrupts hormones and cortisol levels in the body. How through yoga, meditation, pranayama and aromatherapy, harmony is restored in mind, body, energy, mood and emotions.
Strategies you will learn and easy practices you will take away with you to facilitate better sleep:
- Pranayama breathing to deeply relax before sleep
- Nourishing yin restorative yoga postures to stretch and soothe
- Herbal tea recipes to prepare for sleep
- Herbal powders to relax and nourish the nervous system
- Easy use of Aromatherapy to enhance sleep
- Instilling healthy habits for nourishing sleep
