Axelrod’s Fry Shack First Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest! Come this Saturday August 23 to Rocky Point to watch this Epic Event! Sponsored By Axelrod’s Fry Shack, Little Rhody Hot Dogs, Pinga Bakery Of West Warwick and RI Food Fights!
What to expect: We will find 10 contestants and 2 alternatives. 12 in all. Saturday, 12pm at Rocky Point on August 23. We will have tables set up for the contestants.
There will be a 10 minute timer in which time the contestants will consume as many hot dogs as they can. Buns and dogs must be consumed. Condiments or Non Alcoholic drinks can be brought by contestants.
Competitors must swallow and keep the food down for it to count. Judges will be watching and keeping count.
In case of a tie there will be a “Sudden Death Eat Off” Contestants will race against the clock with an amount of hot dogs.
The Winner will Receive $100 cash from Axelrod’s Fry Shack and 2 Passports for EVERY RI Food Fights Event for a year ($750 value).

You must MESSAGE a 1 minute video to Axelrod’s Fry Shacks Facebook Page. We are looking for the most interesting, interested contestants. Tell us why we should pick you!
IF YOU ARE SELECTED AS A POSSIBLE CONTESTANT:
You will be responsible for paying a $50 DOLLAR NON REFUNDABLE ENTRANCE FEE. For this fee on the day of the event you will be recorded as a participant, receive a $25 Gift Certificate good at Axelrods Fry Shack, an Event Tee Shirt and One Passport good for the September 2025 Wienerfest! There will be 12 Participants selected. 10 will be Contestants and 2 will be alternatives in the case someone does not show for the event. All 12 have to pay and will recieve gift certificates, T shirts and a RI Food Fights Passport. You MUST sign a waiver letting us know you are able to participate and will not hold any organizers and all involved liable.
Winner will be decided the day of the event.
