Scorched Waves, is an indie rock sensation hailing from Stevens Point, WI. The band, comprising Tyler Armstrong (Guitar), Al Vuorinen (Bass), Jaren Wojcik (Keyboards & Auxiliary Percussion), Damian Kessler (Drums), and Tiernan Brinkman (Vocals), bring a dynamic energy born from their diverse touring experiences. From their beginnings in intimate basements to iconic venues like Chicago's Navy Pier, 7th Street Entry at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Mile of Music Festival in Appleton, and Milwaukee's Summerfest. Scorched Waves leaves an indelible mark with their powerful performances.
The quintet has comparable sounds to the likes of classic indie bands such as Arctic Monkeys and The Killers, as well as newly emerging groups such as I Don't Know How But They Found Me and The Backseat Lovers with their introspective songwriting, groovy riffs, moody lyrics, and expressive arrangements offering a unique blend of Indie/Alternative Rock, Post Punk, and Pop Punk.

Driven by dancey introspection rather than genre alone, The Weekend Run Club teases out technical elements from rock, alternative, indie, punk, and power-pop. 2024 saw the release of their sophomore LP ‘Liminal Space Race’ under Say-10 Records.
