Join us for an engaging Earth Day event where you'll explore Santa Clara County’s community composting site. Learn from Master Composter Derek Bryant about composting methods, benefits, and how to succeed with both backyard and worm composting.
Take part in our unique experiment by helping build two compost piles—one with plant-based synthetic hair extensions and one without.
This is a family friendly event. If hands-on work isn't for you, you can still contribute by shredding paper, feeding worms, or assisting with site maintenance.
Wrap up the day with snacks, a walking guided tour, Q&A and great conversations.
