Welcome to AWFH x NAAAP Asian Queer Supper Club Tea Talks: Navigating the World as Queer AAPI! In collaboration with NAAAP Asian Queer Supper Club and MAP for Health, join us for an insightful discussion at CIC Boston where we'll explore the unique experiences of navigating the world as queer individuals within the AAPI community.
Our panel of speakers will share their stories, challenges, and triumphs, providing a space for open dialogue and connection. Come sip on some tea and engage in meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals. Our Panelists include:
(they/them) is a second-generation Chinese American passionate about accessibility and identity. They're a UX designer for their day job. They're the Associate Director for the Pride committee with NAAAP Boston and an active volunteer with Out in Tech Boston, Panethnic Pourovers, and the Boston Asian American Film Festival.
(they/them) is NAAAP Boston’s Director of LGBTQ+ Pride, working to spotlight and celebrate the full spectrum of the queer AAPI experience. As director, Cindy has created community spaces and professional/personal development programming curated to Boston’s queer AAPI community and its allies.
Mi P (she/her) immigrated to the U.S. from Vietnam with her family during her high school years. Raised in a conventional Vietnamese household, her journey has been defined by a spirited exploration of personal identity within the framework of traditional values.
