Danville is a place that revels in its past, and this scavenger hunt will prove it! The way this town preserves its relics and pays homage to its citizens is evident, especially when it comes to those who have made significant contributions to its success and sacrificed to protect it.
Since this adventure focuses on memories, our carefully plotted route highlights several museums and monuments. Youʼll be led to buildings, sculptures, parks, and plazas dedicated to notable citizens of Vermilion County and their achievements.
Weʼll reveal where a former state senator got his start, point out a plaza that honors soldiers and sailors, expose the “playground” of some local Bobcats, and give you a peek at a building where Abraham Lincoln once practiced law!
Pay attention to what you see around you —you wonʼt want to miss a clue! The details might come up in trivia questions that can earn you points. A high score might even put you on top of the leaderboard, but if you miss a few questions, youʼll still have a great time uncovering amazing attractions from the starting point to the finish line.
