Join us on this 400-Year Dash Through Derry scavenger hunt to uncover the famous Derry-resilience.
Derry is a city of impossible bridges and everlasting walls. There's magic here, to be sure—tantalizingly human and deceptively accessible. But, as any decent SciFi or fantasy fan can confirm: magic always has a price. Derry/Londonderry has paid that price several times over. The result is a dauntless and intrepid city.
On your 400-Year Dash Through Derry, you'll visit locations that span the last four centuries of Derry history. You'll learn why the Derry Walls were built in the 17th century and what they have seen since. Youʼll discover how Derry went from the Troubles to the Nobel Peace Prize. Youʼll see a 19th-century government building that has endured fire and attacks, yet persists with color and light.
As you move about the city, you and your team will take on challenges that will test your wits as surely as they'll delight and entertain. With a bit of luck, a sense of adventure, and some keen observational skills, you and your team will triumph in the 400-Year Dash Through Derry—perhaps you'll even beat the high score! Discover the best sights in your city with your group and answer questions that can only be found in person, hidden on plaques, statues, art, and more.
Photo Challenges and Activities:
Each person will have an interactive role and will receive texted photo challenges and fun activities to enjoy with the rest of the group. Earn points for the best photos!
How it works:
1. You can start at any time you wish – this is a self-guided scavenger hunt.
2. The duration of each hunt is 1.5 to 2 hours.
3. Visit our website to purchase tickets.
4. Download our Let's Roam app from the Play Store or App Store. Register and redeem the tickets there to get started.
5. The app will guide you throughout the tour and the challenges you need to accomplish!
