Join us for the Awesome 80s Summer Solstice Beach Run presented by Moe Moon's! This unique race features the beauty of Myrtle Beach and takes advantage of the beginning of summer and the longest day of sunlight! Participants will begin on the sand at Plyler Park and head north for 1 mile and then return to complete for a total of 2 miles. Once your race is complete, join us at Plyer Park for live music, food, and fun! Race participants will receive a hotdog, chips, and soda/water compliments of Moe Moon's! In addition, each participant can enjoy a complimentary Skywheel ride that evening. Bring your beach towel, dress up in your favorite 80s costume, and let's have a picnic together! This is a perfect event for your family to kickstart the summer season by enjoying the beauty of Myrtle Beach at sunset and get active at the same time! This is an un-timed event and no overall or age group awards will be given. A timing clock will be posted at the finish. All participants dressed in 80s attire will be entered into a costume raffle prize drawing! No animals or strollers allowed on race course.
