Learn and practice strategies to jumpstart your creative process, whether you are just starting out with artistic expression, experiencing art block, or want to rejuvenate your journey of self-development.In CCC's art studio we will explore art media in creative experiments that will lead to personalized artistic creations. You will learn reflective and active techniques for centering, calming, self-definition, and focusing to find and harness the flow in your creative process. Experiment with Mixed Media techniques for line and shape, construction/ deconstruction, color themes, and 3D art.
For those of you inclined to go the next step, there will also be the opportunity to show your work in an Art Exhibit at the East Flagstaff Community Library through November!
Dr. Michelle Gray, ICF Professional Certified Coach, has over 40 years of experience working in Expressive Arts and Coaching. She has recently retired from her Clinical practice, and is now focusing on bringing health and well‐being coaching practices to those making transitions while exploring their authentic life path. She was a recipient of 2024 ARTx Grant for Dreamscapes Unveiled, an art show integrating Jungian psychology, sleep, and dreams.
This class is $75 and meets on four Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25.
