This inspiring 5-session workshop series combines the wisdom of Amie McNee's transformative book "We Need Your Art" with hands-on creative exploration. Facilitated by poet, singer-songwriter, and makeup artist Brandi Roe, this hybrid book club and workshop series is designed to help you awaken your inner artist and find the courage to share your unique creative voice with the world.
This series is perfect for anyone who creates (or wants to create) but struggles with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or the belief that their art isn't "good enough" or "important enough." Whether art is your hobby, profession, or somewhere in between, it has value—and this workshop series welcomes every kind of artist, no matter where you are on your journey. Through guided discussions, reflective exercises, and gentle creative exploration, you'll work through the mental and emotional barriers that keep you from stepping into your artistic identity.
What to Expect: Each 2-hour session will include:
* Guided Conversations: Deep, supportive discussions around key themes from the book
* Inner Work & Reflection: Exercises designed to help you identify and work through creative blocks, fears, and limiting beliefs
* Creative Exploration: Gentle, low-pressure creative activities to reconnect with the joy of making
* Show & Tell: a kindergarten-style sharing time where participants can share their art (any medium, any stage) in a completely supportive, judgment-free space

* 5 bi-weekly sessions from 7-9pm, August 19th September 2nd, September 16th, September 30th, and October 14th
