Enter into sacred space with all those who have gone before and all who come after as the past, present, and future weave together into one tapestry. Come add your story to the pattern at Awaken 2024, Illuman's annual gathering for men. Join us Thursday, October 31 to Sunday, November 3 - the weekend of All Saints, All Souls, and Día de los Muertos - as we reconnect with the wisdom of our ancestors and, together, foster a better story for our collective future.
Not a typical "conference," Awaken incorporates the touchstones that make Illuman unique: deep inner work utilizing ritual, story, nature, poetry, drumming, small group councils, contemplative practices, and open time to just rest, recreate, and connect.
We gather around the core vision of a whole and healthy masculinity described by our founder, Richard Rohr, almost three decades ago. We come together for the vital work of healing our wounds and awakening our Inner Wildman, Soulful Artist, and Wise Sage. We do this to help us reengage as re-invigorated contemplative activists who bring beauty and healing to a desperate world.
Whether you are new to Illuman, or already an initiated man, you are invited to walk shoulder-to-shoulder with hundreds of your brothers as we renew old bonds, build new friendships, and engage in this transformative process together.

DETAILS
What: A 4-day, 3-night gathering for any and all male-identified persons to engage in deep, transformative inner work
When: 5pm, Thursday October 31st to 1pm, Sunday, November 3
Where: Lake Williamson Center in Carlinville, Illinois - one hour north of St. Louis
Cost: Super Early Bird Rate of $625/person until June 2 for a double occupancy motel style room and nine meals (Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch)
Scholarships are available! We need volunteers to help us behind the scenes, so if you would like to offer your time in exchange for a full or partial scholarship, please fill out the application form (https://forms.gle/koZY4JVDBD1akLSQ9) to receive a scholarship code. Once you've been approved and have received your code, return here and finish your registration.
