The Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, is the simple and therapeutic act of spending time in a forest and is used as a type of preventative medicine. The results of Japanese studies have shown forest bathing improves sleep quality, mood, ability to focus, stress levels, and even lower blood pressure. This peaceful, meditative experience encourages mindfulness and sensory engagement, allowing you to slow down and fully immerse in the gifts of nature. Park Naturalist MC Rose, ANTF Trainee (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy), will be your guide, providing invitations and prompts to inspire your journey.
