覺醒吧：巴哈清唱劇《喚醒，呼喚我們的聲音》

This year marks the 300th anniversary of the composing of Cantata “Wachet auf ruft uns die Stimme” BWV 140 by J.S. Bach. The text of this cantata is inspired by the parable of the ten virgins from the Gospel and passages from the Book of Song of Songs from the bible. Splendour Music hopes to share the message of awakening and getting oneself prepared, as we enters the season of Advent that embraces the coming of Christ especially in a world filled with unrests and challenges today.

今年是巴赫清唱劇作品第一百四十號《喚醒，呼喚我們的聲音》創作三百週年紀念。清唱劇文本的創作靈感主要取材自聖經中十個童女的比喻及雅歌等。在今日這個充滿不安及挑戰的世界，《絢炫樂軒》期盼透過是次演出喚醒並思想預備迎按主再來的信息
