Our festival will be at the Jindera Recreation Reserve 10.30am till 2:30pmKicking our day off with a Welcome and Smoking Ceremony, DJ Eddie will be on the decks, throughout the we will have Aboriginal Dancers, Barbers (free haircuts), Stalls, Food Vendors, Service Providers and Workshops.
Everyone is welcome.
We hold our Waluwin Festival in October for Mental Health Month.
Meaning of Waluwin:
Good, Healthy, In Order, Right, Tidy, Well
As Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people we know to be well is through a holistic approach, connecting with mob, connecting with culture, connecting physically, mentally and spirituality.
This festival will be an annual event and we hope to grow this each year.
