AWA Foundation Private Tour: The Commons at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County
Join the AWA Foundation for an exciting exploration of the latest addition to the Natural History Museum - THE COMMONS! This new front door to the Museum is a community-facing hub that includes an exhibit space, theater, and café.
Our exclusive morning tour will bring together the women-centric design team who will take us through the design and urban design improvements of THE COMMONS and surrounding gardens/parks. We'll walk the project, hear stories and insights about the origins, design process, and delivery of this unique architecture + landscape addition. We'll also learn more about the evolution of Exposition Park, its role in the 2028 Olympics, and its relationships with the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and other cultural institutions.
