The State of the Snowpack tracks the weather this winter and explores its effects on traveling and recreating on snow in the backcountry. Although not a science-based course, we discuss why we track storms and analyze snowpack regularly. Attendees learn about the current snowpack, how it got that way, and effects of new snow.
