Join Avondale Library for a Beginner's Sewing Workshop!
Ready to start your sewing journey? Our free, 4-hour workshop is the perfect place to begin! Designed for those completely new to sewing, your host Chanteé will guide you through everything you need to know.
You'll learn:
Safety tips and essential tools
How to understand patterns
Threading a sewing machine
Machine settings & troubleshooting
Sewing straight & curved seams
By the end, you'll leave with your very own handmade project! Open to anyone over 10 (younger children are welcome with a supervising parent). Space is limited to just 5 participants, so register soon! Come learn, create, and have fun with us at Avondale Library!
