NB: We’ll be meeting near the entrance to the allotments at the end of Coldharbour Lane, SP2 7DG; W3W ///appear.dizzy.signalThis Thursday we’ll be brush cutting, scything and raking a section of the reed bed, and piling the arisings along the hedge-line next to the path. The ground will be uneven so please wear stout boots, and reeds are sharp-edged so please wear long sleeves and long trousers. Weather is currently forecast to be fair but do bring a waterproof just in case.
As usual, tools and gloves provided and there's parking along Coldharbour Lane and in nearby streets. The session runs until 3pm so if you can stay for the afternoon as well, please bring lunch.
