BIO:

Aviana Gedler is a jazz singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for music and performance artistry. She is the 1st Place Winner of the Ravenscroft Jazz Prize, the 2nd Place Winner of the 2024 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition, and a two-time recipient of Downbeat Magazine's award for Best Vocal Jazz Soloist in the community college division (2021 and 2022). Aviana has honed her voice and improvisational ear across a wide range of styles, including swing, bossa nova, bebop, modern jazz, and more. Her artistry has resonated throughout her home state of Iowa and the Boston area alike. This performance will feature original compositions and fresh arrangements of jazz standards, performed with an outstanding trio of students from the New England Conservatory.
