The avant-Gard: is a person or work that is experimental, radical, or unorthodox with respect to art, culture, or society. It is frequently characterized by aesthetic innovation and initial unacceptability.
There are movements in theatre history that are characterized by their contributions to the avant-Gard traditions in both the United States and Europe; such as Gard Løkke’s fight against himself in this very performance.
Artists such as Tord Kinge has also contributed to this art movement, and has created enlightenment in the younger generations’ artistic view and their emotional capabilities in this wavering world of social media.
Mathilde Storm’s avant-Gard music working within traditional structures while seeking to breach boundaries of what music could be, a musician who radically depart from tradition altogether by singing without a voice.
