The story of Cerridwen is a metaphor for a Shamanic Initiation journey, not unlike the one each of us undertake during our lifetime. The transformation from our human consciousness to our animistic consciousness is an exciting discovery of the art of healing our soul. Despite the somewhat shocking nature of the tale, it guides us through the emotions many of us seek to suppress: anger, rage, fear, disappointment, greed, envy, emotions as old as humanity itself. Cerridwen’s journey to redemption show us the labyrinthine path to peace in our heart and soul.
