Next year, there is the Southern Hemisphere's largest Airshow (According to their press release); the Avalon Australian Airshow.https://www.airshow.com.au/airshow2025/PUBLIC/index.asp
The aim is for a group of to stay over there with long lenses and do some plane spotting :-)
No idea of costs at this stage, but it won't be cheap considering flights, accommodation, tickets and maybe car hire. I'll probably aim to get there the day before and leave the day afterwards.
If you're interested mark it on this invite so I know whether it's worth progressing or not. It will need a critical mass of people to make it worth while.
