Team Motorsports is hosting its 4th avalanche rescue skills class instructed by Mike Duffy. Mike has over 25 years of experience in proven, effective avalanche education! We will have a large in-stock selection of the newest BCA & KLIM avalanche gear that you will be able to purchase at discounted prices. Bring YOUR avalanche gear and riding partners! Mike will have transceivers for those who don't have one for transceiver training.Dinner will be provided!
"Avalanche Rescue Skills 2024”
Every year Mike designs a new class with an interactive classroom session with hands-on transceiver use, demonstrations, powerpoints, and videos. Emphasis is on avalanche transceivers and new rescue techniques. The class will start with a review of avalanche accidents, how to prevent getting caught, the different types of avalanches, and reading into avalanche forecasts. Leading to new more advanced avalanche rescue techniques, terrain analysis, route finding, snowpack analysis, and transceiver use.
