AUX - event with special guest Alexandra Ampofo at Pirate Dalston, London

Every first Wednesday of the month at Pirate Dalston, Pirate hosts AUX, our monthly music-sharing and networking event. Recording artists and producers are invited to play their original music in front of an audience full of other artists, producers and music industry professionals. One AUX participant has the chance to take home £250 worth of Pirate Studio credit. Each event features a special guest music industry host who will take part in a live Q&A.

Time: 6PM - 9PM

Location:

• Arrive and sign up to play in 1 of 5 rounds (25 available spaces)
• A winner is selected from each round
• The top 5 battle it out with 30 seconds of music
• The special guest host chooses the winner €250 worth of Pirate Studio credit.

What to expect:

• 5:45PM - 6:20PM - Sign-ups opens and closes

• 6:20PM - 6:40PM - Q&A with special guest begins

• 6:45PM - 8:45PM - Rounds 1 - 5 of music playback
• 8:45PM - Top 5 Battle + AUX winner is selected
• 9PM - End

Alexandra Ampofo is a trailblazing live music promoter at Metropolis Music, part of Live Nation UK. With over eight years of experience, she’s known for curating impactful events featuring artists like Ms. Lauryn Hill, Janelle Monáe, and Arlo Parks. Beyond her professional role, Alexandra leads the Diversity Employee Resource Group at Live Nation, founding EMBRACE Nation to promote racial equality and education. She also launched Acoustic Live, an award-winning events company showcasing acoustic talent, and Women Connect, a collective fostering safer, inclusive spaces for women and non-binary creatives.
