The meeting will occur at the AMA Headquarters building coincident with the starting day of the AMA National Fun Fly (https://www.modelaircraft.org/funfly). In addition, the annual business meeting and officer elections will occur. Come and hear important updates about the progress of AUVSI right here in Indiana as well as the AUVSI parent organization. We'll also have interesting presentations about topics such as Remote ID and Beyond Visual Line of Sight flight.

10:00-10:30--Arrival and networking.
10:30-11:00--Annual business meeting and officer elections.
11:00-12:00--Topic presentations, including BVLOS and Remote ID.
12:00-12:30--Future plans, membership growth, and open discussion.
12:30--Lunch at the Food Court at the National Fun Fly Event (stay as long as you wish to enjoy the event)
AUVSI INDIANA OFFICER ELECTIONS
As required by the Bylaws of the Indiana Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), officer elections take place during the 2nd quarter of each year. Officers serve two-year terms on a rotating schedule. Vice-President and Secretary elections take place on even-numbered calendar years (e.g. 2022, 2024). The Vice-President and Secretary elected this year will serve AUVSI Indiana from July 2024 until June 2026. In addition, there is a special election for the President position this year as Aaron Pierce is stepping down in order to better support his new duties as a Board member at AUVSI Headquarters. Aaron will remain intimately involved in AUVSI Indiana's activities. This President elected this year will serve AUVSI Indiana from July 2024 until June 2025. This special election will maintain the current Bylaws terms. The election results are finalized at the Annual Meeting which will occur on 28 June 2024. Candidates for officer positions may be nominated now and on site during the meeting though voting will take place electronically. A dedicated email will come out soon regarding elections, but nominations are open!
AMA NATIONAL FUN FLY
This is a 3-day national event right here in Muncie, Indiana that includes activities for the whole family including model flying, drone racing, cars, trucks, boats, paramotoring, swap shop, and various exhibitors. You are welcome to also register to fly or participate in these activities over the weekend after the AUVSI meeting. AMA does require pre-registration to participate in some of these activities.
