About this Event
Embrace the colors of autumn as we take in the magic of the season.
We will begin by opening our senses on a meditative walk in the forest, with invitations crafted to deepen our connection to the space around us.
Then, we will explore our creativity and expression with a healing and intuitive watercolor painting session inspired by the colors of autumn.
Lastly, we will conclude the experience with a traditional forest bathing tea ceremony.
Registration: $40 ~ includes mindful forest walk, intuitive painting, and tea ceremony
The practice of forest bathing encourages you to walk in the forest at a slower pace and take in the atmosphere around you. As a growing global wellness movement, it is backed by nearly 40 years of scientific research on the holistic benefits of immersing yourself in nature.
⟡ For your body: Release stress, breathe fresh air, boost your immune system, and get moving.
⟡ For your mind: Settle your awareness in nature's soothing atmosphere, and go home with improved sleep and mental focus.
⟡ For your spirit: Connect with and gain inspiration from the living earth with increased creativity and mood.
These walks are slow-paced and generally cover less than a mile of trail. During this time the guide, in partnership with the forest, will offer an evolving series of invitations crafted to help participants slow down and open their senses. This mindfulness opens the heart and allows us to be fully present. Come discover the healing powers of being in the forest.
