Join us for an autumnal equinox celebration, a soul-nourishing journey that blends creative expression, sound healing and somatic movement for deep emotional and energetic healing. We’ll begin with the Somatic Activated Healing Method— an engaging, high-energy practice combining multiple modalities like freeform dance, breathwork, affirmations, and intentional somatic activation. This isn’t just dance; it’s a space where conscious movement meditation meets creative, playful expression, helping you shake off what no longer serves you and reconnect with your authentic, liberated self.As your body releases and reawakens, we’ll transition into a restorative soundbath, where the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, chimes, and vocal melodies will guide you into profound relaxation and integration. Leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to your creative, embodied essence. In summation, participants can expect: about an hour of somatic activated healing, 30 minutes of dance as expression, ending with around 60 minutes of sound healing to integrate the experience. Come as you are - no dance experience needed, only an open mind and heart!
What is the Somatic Activated Healing Method?
The Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) Method is a wellness practice that uses movement, breathwork, meditation, and affirmation to facilitate emotional and spiritual healing. It's a "bottom-up" approach, focusing on the body and sensations as the entry point for healing, rather than thoughts and memories. This method aims to help individuals release emotional baggage, build resilience, and experience a deeper connection with their authentic selves.
Participants can expect:
~ Carefully designed movements help release emotional charges stored in the body, allowing for safe emotional expression without reliving past trauma.
~ Rhythmic breathwork is used to bring awareness back to the body, ground individuals in the present moment, and facilitate the release of stored emotions.
~ Meditation to help cultivate concentration, allowing individuals to observe their feelings without getting caught up in the stories attached to them.
~ Positive affirmations are used to reinforce a new inner vocabulary and mindset, promoting a more positive and resilient outlook.
Potential Benefits of the SAH Method:
~ can help individuals release emotional baggage and process stagnant energy.
~ individuals can become more resilient in the face of life's challenges.
~ foster a deeper connection with one's body and authentic self.
~ help individuals develop a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions.
