Come explore the meadow area of Mill Creek Falls Nature Preserve for fall pollinators and take a walk down the universally accessible trail in search of the butterflies that frequent the area. Often seen are zebra swallowtails near the pawpaw grove. In the meadow a host of solitary bees, moths, and butterflies can often be seen in action on rudbeckia, mountain mint, and goldenrod. We will watch the pollinators as they are winding down the season amongst the golden flowers. What to Expect: This is for ages 6 & up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There is a port-a-john available on site. This is an easy, level walk on grassy areas and universally accessible trail.
What to Bring: Bring water. Binoculars are optional.
