Immerse yourself in nature with forest bathing, lunch and a sound bath in the relaxing surroundings of Holkham’s parkland.Join Nicky from Sound and Ground for a two hour forest bathing session within a small group. Nicky will lead you through an enjoyable sequence of mindful and sensory practices crafted for your relaxation and connection with the forest and the trees. Lunch will be served in the Walled Garden before having a relaxing sound bath meditation where Nicky will play a variety of sound therapy instruments including gongs, chimes, drum and singing bowls.
The day
10:15am Arrive
10.30am – 12.30pm Forest bathing in the parkland
12.30- 3pm Lunch and opportunity to peruse the Walled Garden
3pm -4.30pm Relaxing sound bath meditation
The day’s experiences offer deep and restorative relaxation, release of stress and muscular tension, time for yourself away from the demands of everyday life and technology and an opportunity to tune into your inner voice and needs.
Nicky’s unique approach to forest bathing has been developed through years of study into mindfulness, meditation, Yoga Nidra, sound therapy and forest bathing. She is a professionally qualified guide with The Forest Bathing Institute.
Please bring your own mat, anything you can easily carry that is waterproof that you can sit or lay on will work; You may also wish to bring a blanket and cushion for comfort.
