About this Event
Walk the under the spreading canopy of Southside Park's trees with a Sacramento Tree Foundation arborist and learn about the towering and beautiful trees in the park as we catch the brightening colors of autumn. The price for this tour includes your own copy of A Californian's Guide to the Trees Among Us by Matt Ritter to take home. We recommend pairing this tree tour with our free Tree Identification 101 webinar taking place on Thursday, November 14.

About this project
At the Sacramento Tree Foundation, we steward our urban forest from seed to slab. With your help, we plant over 12,000 trees every year, but the work doesn't stop there. Trees need regular care to thrive, especially for their first three years after planting. We provide free resources, workshops, and educational volunteer opportunities to teach people how to plant, water, prune, and care for their trees and ensure our urban forest thrives for generations to come.
Support for this event is provided by SMUD.
