About this Event
October-November is a period of many interesting natural shifts (light, temperature, tree shedding, and seasonal rhythms) that affect humans in various aspects, such as the body, mind, and emotions. This project is a series of creative workshops that respond to and explore this seasonal shift (through different senses), as well as its relation to personal transition, and further positive future change. They are led by artist-educator Tuong Nguyen.
Some materials are provided, from the Inky Fingers Workshop stash of vintage and zero-to-waste papers, plus from (a brilliant resource centre). Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials (often from their home recycling, or found in nature) – please bring your old bills and letters, paper or card-based food packaging, anything that you think might fit with the theme.
Each workshop is artist-led, open to everyone (age 8+), with a maximum of 15 people in each workshop, designed to be accessible, reflective, creative, playful and relaxing.
